Alican is one of the most awarded creative copywriter in Turkey.
After working as a creative head and copywriter in Istanbul for 10 years,
he moved to his hometown Bucharest in the fall of 2021 and still lives there.
His relationship with advertising became official as soon as he graduated from Miami Ad School.
He was selected in 2017 as "a young creative who left a mark on the industry" at MediaCat
Ad Age’s 30 Under 30 selection. He has worked in agencies both global and local, including
Tribal Worldwide, Rafineri İstanbul. Lastly, he worked as Creative Group Head at Havas Worldwide
and managed 12 accounts with his team.
His work has been awarded at Cannes Young Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Golden Drum,
Epica, Effie, Berlin Commercial, Crystal Apple, Felis Awards and other local award festivals.
He had his first jury experience at the PHNX Awards by Adforum in May 22.
Throughout his career, he has worked for brands like Coca-Cola, Vanish, Greenpeace,
Turkish Airlines, Audi, PUMA, Algida, Turkcell, İsBank, QNB, Ziraat Bank and many more.
Outside the work, he has closely related to bikes, tennis and dogs.
By the way, he never talks about himself in 3rd person.
